Sometimes, a sentence or a fragment of a sentence pops up in my mind, and sticks with me for a while, a bit like a mantra.
I know, I`ve read it somewhere some time ago. But I don`t always bookmark things right away, and so I often can`t find the source anymore.
Also, perhaps some of these mantra-sentences don`t pop up to me, the moment I read them. But somehow it seems they get stored away in some kind of cache memory in the quotes-section of my brain. And when I least expect it… – probably when I hover over a certain hotspot in my current mindset – a pop-up window jumps at me with that sentence.

So, if you happen to run accross the source of above „anonymous“ quote, please drop me a link!

Gute Gesetzgebung

“There are those who believe that you just legislate to make the well-to-do prosperous, that their prosperity will leak through on those below. The Democratic idea has been that if you legislate to make the masses prosperous their prosperity will find its way up and through every class that rests upon it.”

William Jennings Bryan at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in 1896
